Rehearsal Monday 16th July – EASTCLIFFE !

Hi all,

Firstly, thanks for changing this week’s rehearsal to the Cathedral in Peel.

I thought it was an excellent rehearsal, and for me it established how well we can play given the right circumstances.  More of the same over the next few weeks please !

The coming rehearsal (16th July) will be held in Eastcliffe at the normal time (starting 6:30 pm).   We won’t have Ben with us, but I’ve arranged the playlist to accommodate this – I’ll play Bari, and there are no tunes featuring the Soprano.

We’ll concentrate on the tunes marked in Blue / Starred – but please have all the music to hand just in case.

A couple of changes to the draft playlist (see below) – I’ve added Londonderry Air into the mix – so please can you put the sheet music in your folders.  I’ve created an ‘Alto as Soprano’ part for Yesterday to help us practice it, and will bring the sheet music along with me.  … and we now have more tunes than we need so I’d like us to choose one of Basin Street Blues or Yellow Dog Blues – based on a play through on Monday.

See you at Eastcliffe.  Cheers Jem
