As our 40’s concert (Oct 13th) is rapidly approaching, we’ll concentrate on polishing 40’s tunes this week – then bring in some others to prepare for our more general concert on Nov 2nd, next week onwards depending on how well we do this week !
In particular, I’d like to concentrate on getting American Patrol and Moonlight Serenade on a more secure footing.
I’d also like to add an existing tune – It’s only a Paper Moon to the mix, and will bring along parts for a new Miller favourite – “I’ve got a gal in Kalamazoo”
Can you please make sure you have printed sheet music with you, for the list below.
Lastly – a quick reminder that our new start time (6:45pm) is when we start rehearsing together. Please make sure that you’re at Eastcliffe in good time to get set up, warmed up, and tuned up beforehand. Thanks.
See you Monday, Jem
I’ve got a Gal in Kalamazoo – Jem will bring copies.
